I’m Moving!!!
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that after today I’ll be posting from a new location. I had to separate my personal blog from my pharmacy blog. The overlap was no bueno.
I will post a link on my new blog to this old one, since Tumblr unfortunately does not have a way of seamlessly separating secondary blogs from a primary one.
I also did NOT want to waste this gorgeous weekend copy and pasting the old posts to the new blog. Patience is not my strong suit.

A national association of pharmacy chain stores has vowed to help government officials in the battle against the growing problem of prescription drug abuse. The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) submitted a statement to Congress supporting steps to reduce prescription drug abuse, misuse, diversion, and fraud.
This is very real threat. My hospital is constantly updating our manufacturer backorder list. A few on our current list include:
and many, many more…
Just wanted to get some feedback from you guys.
Answer me in my ask box:
Why Pharmacy?
Check this out. Medication adherence is a major reason why patients don’t see improvements in their health. Find out how you can help.
lol at your scoffing at the sweetening agent. What if your patient was allergic. lol…you know that you didn’t use saccharide…however your paperwork says that you did.
I think your professors are just trying to make sure you guys understand the basic concepts. In real life my worksheets are wayyyy watered down and really only consist of the calculations, the ingredients and their lot and expiration dates.
But I only feel confident in doing that because I have learned the basics.
PS I’ve seen some of your posts and are glad you have realized the importance of these things. Good luck in your educational adventures :)
All the best,
